An expert problem-solver with a mixed background spanning creative, business, and writing, McMahon oversees Art Machine, the print and creative division of Trailer Park, which he was integral in helping to build since its founding (and which was acquired by Trailer Park in 2007).  He has been responsible for the implementation of the creative department's strategic vision and helped to establish the company's interdisciplinary cross-selling approach, connecting the print, broadcast, and web disciplines.  McMahon has negotiated with major studios at the President and VP level, has had experience selling multiple businesses, and his views on the entertainment industry have appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, AdCritic.Com, and Creative Magazine.

Graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics-Business, McMahon began his career as a consultant for Ernst and Young of Los Angeles.  There he worked with real estate, manufacturing and entertainment clients, as well as serving on an E & Y fraud team.  In 1994, he left the company to join a Tucson-based real estate firm, where he ran operations while earning a second degree in Creative Writing at The University of Arizona.

On his return to Los Angeles, McMahon ran finance/operations at Parallel Imaging, where he assisted the owners in selling the business to a new majority partner.  After a successful sale, he accepted the challenge of working at Donahue Printing/Agate Printing, where he was the C.F.O./ C.O.O. of the company.  During his tenure there, the company grew by at least 40% each year.

In 1998, McMahon and an Agate colleague left the company and formed Iworks Print, a print consulting and print brokerage firm based in Culver City.  At Iworks, McMahon helped to introduce a new paradigm of high volume contract print pricing to several of the world's largest entertainment firms, including Sony/Columbia TriStar, New Line, and Twentieth Century Fox.  In 1999, McMahon helped to found Art Machine, a Los Angeles based design boutique, working to build the management, sales and production side of the business.

In 2003, to devote more time to Art Machine, McMahon successfully sold Iworks Print to Southern California Screen Printing, Inc., the largest and most automated silkscreener in the Western United States.  Over the next 4 years, Art Machine became one of the most awarded entertainment design firms in Southern California, attracting the eye of purchaser Trailer Park and their equity partner Lake Capital.  In 2007 Trailer Park acquired Art Machine as their creative print arm, and in 2009, McMahon was promoted to President and General Manager.

McMahon is an expert at building infrastructure, overseeing operations, establishing internal controls, and setting a global strategy. He has helped to locate key sales staff and himself serves as Account Executive and Creative Director to TNT, TBS, Universal Studios, and The Weather Channel.  He is a Certified Public Account, licensed in the State of California and a recognized CAF representative to the I.R.S. He has won six writing awards for individual creative work and is a published non-fiction book author.  McMahon has lived abroad, travels vigorously, and speaks semi-fluent Spanish.
